The Annual Breakfast to benefit The Greater Boston Food Bank

Hunger is a big problem, and big problems call for big solutions. Since 2010, Women Fighting Hunger has been a catalyst for raising support, building awareness, and advancing advocacy for The Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB). Together, we have raised more than $2.5 million to address food insecurity in our communities.

The annual Women Fighting Hunger breakfast brings together a compassionate group of business and community leaders who are committed to improving the health and well-being of communities across Eastern Massachusetts.

The event begins with a Coffee Reception featuring barista stations, brunch bites, a fun photo booth, and more. This year, we are adding a captivating “Coffee Talk” discussion featuring our honoree, Randi Cutler, and past honoree Joanna Travis, moderated by WCVB-Channel 5 icon, Karen Holmes Ward. We will celebrate GBFB’s mission to end hunger here and highlight our essential role in empowering families to put nutritious food on their tables.

This year’s breakfast event will honor philanthropist and community leader Randi Cutler. Randi is committed to combating food insecurity and providing high-quality healthcare to our region’s most vulnerable people—particularly children—through her work as a Trustee of Boston Medical Center. She embodies the GBFB mission and values in all her endeavors, and we’re delighted to count Randi and her husband Joel Cutler among GBFB’s closest supporters.

For one in three people in Massachusetts, hunger is not an emergency. It’s a lived reality with a profound impact on their health and well-being. That’s why, for nearly half a century, The Greater Boston Food Bank has fueled a powerful food distribution network that puts 87 million healthy meals on tables across 190 cities and towns in our region each year. The Greater Boston Food Bank is a member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger relief organization.
